Human figures in the form of mannequins have been my painting motif for the past twenty years. These creatures often inhabit glass cages on city streets that reflect buildings, vehicles, crosswalks, occasional vegetation, and actual humans. Their bodies take a variety of poses and their heads of course vary. Some have no head, others have no features, still others are more gorgeous than the average human, replete with perfect hair. They all have plenty of personality and crave our observation of them.
