I love to work with a concept and develop my works to be thoughtful and emotional. I lean towards abstraction as to provoke viewers own perspective, physical and emotional experiences from the painting. I have found myself experimenting with various mediums eventually settling on solely using acrylics. This has led to me forming a method and discipline to the way I paint. The desire I have for my paintings to bring on a surge of thought and emotional experience is all planned out when I begin work with the concept and before I put paint to canvas as such. I am predominantly self-taught. Originally from Essex. The figures, I paint purposely in such a way they tend not to have gender, race nor age. My aim is to allow the viewer to determine who or what this could be and/or mean to them to envoke a surge of thoughtful, visual and emotional experience.
