Artist Statement: I create images because it makes me happy. I also create images to demonstrate that although the world sometimes appears to be a dumpster fire, the formidable beauty of nature is alive and well. I'm an unconventional self-taught artist with an innate curiosity that drives me to create images that are not in plain sight and from a perspective that departs from the ordinary. I curate photons that excite your neurons. In November 2020, after becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the quality of life in the US, I permanently moved to Valencia, Spain and decided to take my photography to the next level. Currently, my main activity is as a travel, landscape and wildlife photographer here and throughout Europe. In 2023, I won several awards and my work was featured in galleries in Europe and the United States, as well as a solo exhibition in New York in December. When I'm not on photography trips to Norway, Morocco or Alaska, I work here in Valencia on various projects including soccer photography and helping restaurants and tourism companies create quality images for their websites.
