Kathup Tsering, Tibetan -Austrian visual poet and artist. His works have been inspired by his continual personal search into the meaning behind visual expression. He focuses upon letters to create an image stimulating a deepening of ones inner feelings. He has abstracted this with both color and non-colour deviations. He has found, in this, a method to express his thoughts about our society. This goes far beyond our visual sensing and becomes a standard for his process. He has found this to be the best way to define the self within selfishness and selflessness. His artwork explores a visual image of integration found in the languages of different cultures. His multi-layer-image process incorporates a cut-out method overlaying his paint with his linocut print art. His works convey a common clarity of feeling far beyond linguistic borders. He believes visual art globalises the expression and communication of what art is designed to be. Mr. Tsering also works with the collage and mixed media art forms. His artworks appear in Otoliths, E.ratio, Levurelitteraire, Mechak Center for Contemporary Tibetan art, and in journals in North America , Europe and Asia. His artworks are in several private collections locally and throughout Europe . He lives and works in Austria and Germany.
