This limited-edition print features a series of paintings was inspired by the Pride flag. Using all the colours in varying amounts. I made it to celebrate Pride as a black gay woman I think it’s important to say it loud and be proud. The edition is 20 this print will be 2/20 the rest of the edition is available.

First known Pride flag – sewn by Gilbert Baker – debuted at the June 1978 San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade. Baker was urged by Harvey Milk, an early gay activist and firebrand, to construct a flag to symbolize the value and dignity of the “Gay” community. Over the years a variety of successive versions of the pride flag have come to be as well as each sexual identity often having its own individual flag. In 2021 the most recent redesign debuted described as the “Intersex-inclusive” redesign of the 2018 “Progress Pride Flag” it was created by Valentino Vecchietti and has quickly caught on internationally.
