The images work on the basis of negative space. The viewer is invited to form their own picture. It is precisely this play with vision, space and one's own associations that makes these pictures so appealing and is intended to make the viewer aware of his own connotation, his synaptic connections.

Technique:
The source material is nude photographs from the 60s and 70s that I acquired on the Internet. However, the female body is cut out to create the "negative space". This is underlaid with images using a special method of microscope photography.
It is also essential to the concept that the impurities of the underlying images (dust, scratches, fingerprints) are part of the artwork.
