Anthonia Chinasa was born in December 1992 and hails from Imo state, Nigeria where her paternal forebears were traditional carvers and masquerade carriers. In the same spirit of artistry, she obtained a B.A (Hons) from the university of Lagos, Nigeria.

She is a prolific painter, moving towards expressionism and her works are easily identified by her bold colors. She was awarded by the Ronke Ekwensi fellowship, where her works were exhibited, in New Jersey, USA. Her art is widely collected and exhibited both in Nigeria and in Diaspora with the recent being 'the LA art fair 2020'. She was also a resident in the Dubai art fair residency program, in March 2020
