The 2D video animation "Cells Matrix" projected on three monitors, running at different times, evokes the idea of a septic laboratory. Monitors/screens are substitutes for the observing and enlarging microorganisms tools. The installation "Cells_01" designed by Alina Aldea represented Romania at the Mdina Biennial of Contemporary Art, Malta in March, this year. Due to the pandemic, unfortunately, the biennial was closed; could be accessed and consulted only online.
