During the Covid crisis, ESCP has naively put its trust in the honesty of its students, putting little effort in surveillance methods for online exams. In December, the school was shocked to learn that students across all campuses engaged in massive fraud. All students received an unforgettable email expressing their disappointment at student’s misconduct and announcing the cancellation of several exams.
We got creative with this email (which is so personal for us all!) and we adjusted it to reflect on our environmental misconduct.
To test how far we could stretch the authority of a worldwide renowned Business School as well as the acquiescence of its students, we sent this email to many colleagues via a fake, yet credible email account. We collected a lot of responses and got a measure of the overall sentiment related to the environmental crisis and our moral values. The best responses are displayed in our final presentation.
