People have fascinated me for years and I have found both fun and challenge drawing and painting them. With color and lines different emotions can be captured. My COVID caricatures evolved after months of growing numbers of COVID cases and deaths in our country. Feelings ranged from acceptance of COVID as a daily reality to complete frustration and anger with ineptness in addressing the virus. I found some semblance of life prior to COVID-19 with the help of Zoom and FaceTime and some days my anger overwhelmed me. The caricatures provided much fun to create and a great way to vent COVID frustrations.
