Yoonsook Ryang was born and raised in South Korea. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Seoul National University and her Masters of Fine Arts from the State University of New York, in Buffalo. A teacher at Niagara County Community College for some time, she then moved to California with her family. Specializing in printmaking, Yoon has excelled at creating dynamic abstract images.
