Name Exists, Body Dies , 2020/21
100 x 80 x 2 cm (h x w x d)
Oil on canvas

This painting depicts an individual physically splitting into halves with amputated limbs, floating in the sky. Between the temptation and danger, existence and death, it creates an intense feeling of absurdity and disorientation. It reflects the inner workings of a person’s subconscious and conveys important messages about the painter’s understanding of the essence of an individual’s existing form. The idea was inspired on a tour in the Dali - Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.
