This painting by the late Gerald Davis was part of our first Bloomsday exhibition at the gallery: 'Portrait of Gerald Davis as an artist', a June 2016 exhibition celebrating the work of the painter who left us in 2005. Gerald Davis was one of Ireland's leading semi-abstract artists. He was also an art gallery owner, critic, and Joycean scholar.
