Life is not still, we are always in transition, in 2020 nothing can remain constant. What happens to the humans who survive Covid-19 is uncharted territory. This series, "You Brought Your Own Light" is about the interior narratives of transgender people, those who live in transition, who are works in progress. Are we not all on a journey to define our lives and journeys? I feel compelled to tell these stories, to challenge our old-fashioned perception of gender as binary, to ask society to become more fluid. The work is personal but the story is one all people can relate to as we carve new identities, still life is a life in motion.
