“In che modo la pandemia ha cambiato il tuo studio e il tuo modo di lavorare?”. Questa è la domanda che la rivista “Hyperallergic” ha posto agli artisti, invitandoli ad inviare fotografie e materiali capaci di raccontare la metamorfosi subita dai loro atelier durante l’attuale condizione di tempo “interrotto”. Come dimostrano le immagini inviate, tra gli altri, da Star Trauth, Petey Brown, Luci Gutierrez e Sarah Morejohn, lo studio, quale spazio fisico e mentale, luogo di incubazione dell’opera d’arte, conosce una radicale trasformazione. Il tavolo della cucina diventa un piano di lavoro, il pavimento si sporca di colore e le pareti si coprono di schizzi e disegni.

"How has the pandemic changed your studios and the way you work?". This is the question that the magazine "Hyperallergic" asked the artists, inviting them to send photographs and materials able to tell the metamorphosis suffered by their studios during the current condition of "interrupted" time. As shown by the images sent, among others, by Star Trauth, Petey Brown, Luci Gutierrez, and Sarah Morejohn, the studio, as a physical and mental space, a place of incubation of the work of art, experiences a radical transformation. The kitchen table becomes a worktop, the floor gets dirty with colors and the walls are covered with sketches and drawings.
