One of a pair of new GP cars, known as the “offset” or Fuoricentro (“out of center”) cars, built to race in the 1956 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. With its engine angled at five degrees in a slightly extended chassis, No. 2525’s driveshaft could run alongside the driver, who then sat eight inches lower in the cockpit.
