My artwork is meant to show that we must respect each other. We must respect our friends and family, yes, but also people who are horrible to us, otherwise the problems we currently face will never be solved, but only worsen. I started out by drawing an eye onto my background paper and cutting out my leaves. I arranged the green, blue and white leaves in the most earth-like way I could, as the iris, and glued them down. I then glued the dark and light skin-coloured leaves on either side around the eye. After that I curled the pointy brown leaves and used them as eyelashes. Finally I added some fire to the iris and the quote to my art.
