"I began this piece in February of 2018 at one of Amanda’s workshops in LA. It was my first piece into learning the mischtechnik. Though it was initiated in acrylic, I’ve also layered a spectrum of caseins, and a slathering of oils like liquified glass.

This piece was received as a flash of an image- a golden Buddha in darkness....
Well, the golden Buddha grew wings, illuminated the darkness and found mushroom friends. Witnessed by a gathering of celestial travelers in their light ships. "
