Cosa può fare il design per essere utile durante la più grande emergenza sanitaria della storia recente? Una risposta è quella fornita da due graphic designer olandesi, fondatori dello studio Lennarts & de Bruijn, che, con “Stay sane, stay safe”, hanno invitato i grafici di tutto il mondo a progettare poster per sostenere gli operatori sanitari e aiutarli nelle campagne di sensibilizzazione per la lotta al virus. Ne è risultato un immenso patchwork di poster di ogni tipo, che si muovono su registri diversi: ironici, drammatici, incoraggianti o parodistici.
Tutti direttamente scaricabili dalla piattaforma e fruibili da ogni tipo di device, i poster raccolti da Lennarts e de Brujin realizzano un’arte pensata per essere al contempo espressiva e informativa sulla crisi che stiamo attraversando.

What can design do to be useful during the biggest health emergency in recent history? One answer is provided by two Dutch graphic designers, founders of Lennarts & de Bruijn, who, with “Stay sane, stay safe”, have invited graphic designers from all around the world to design posters to support health care workers and help them in campaigns to fight the virus. The result was a huge patchwork of posters of all kinds, moving on different registers: ironic, dramatic, encouraging, or parodying.
All directly downloadable from the platform and usable by any type of device, the posters collected by Lennarts and de Brujin express a form of art designed to be both expressive and informative about the crisis we are going through.
