Il cortometraggio, prodotto e montato durante il lockdown, si presenta come un grande mosaico collettivo: il materiale video è stato realizzato dai follower Instagram di Miranda July e, poi, assemblato dall’artista che ha dato vita a un’opera lirica e documentaristica, intima e corale.

“Jopie” is a four-minute, twenty-eight-second video that tells the hopes, expectations, and fears of an entire nation engaged in the fight against the virus. The short film, produced and edited during the lockdown, looks like a large collective mosaic: the video material was made by Miranda July's Instagram followers and then assembled by the artist who created an intimate, choral, lyrical, and documentary work.
