This piece was inspired by the self portrait of film photographer Ingrid Emaga. With her permission, I incorporated her beautiful portrait into this piece that came to life during the middle of summer pandemic lockdowns. I find it a potent image, representing the current struggles and bravery of humans standing up for their rights and the planet, even during a global pandemic.
