This piece came from a shamanic journey that was guided by Roel Crabbe. I went on a vision quest to the realm of my ancestors. I was in a very sacred place, on a mountain top, where my tribe of beloveds have shared many magical musical journeys. I was lead from the circle of fire to through the fields, to precipice. Through the mists I saw the walkway that is a bridge to nowhere. It lead me off into the clouds. My ancestors were waiting for me in the space beyond seeing. This captures the moment before I took that leap. I looked down and saw my feet still standing, but not on the ground. Ready to take that leap into the mystery, to meet my ancestors, who speak to me through the amanita mushrooms. I can see them in the waves of luminescence in the air and feel their steadfast love, like solid iron, steel, gold. I am ready to take that leap!
