A three panel sewn painting, made from oil & acrylic on canvas. The main blue panel has been made nearly entirely by the artist’s hands. By relinquishing the need for paintbrushes, the focus can be primarily on touch and the movement of the arms – creating a very tactile and close relationship with the materials. Built up over time, both horizontally on the floor and vertically on the wall, this painting becomes an imprint of daily physical life in the studio.
