Artist Statement
The painting 'Emergence' represents the power of women to create new life, which must be supported in a safe and respectful environment. In the broader context, the emergence of all of us as human beings depends on our ability to form and merge with each other, in order to create a sustainable coexistence.

Biography

Irit Epstein studied fine arts for five years at the Academy of Art (HDK) in Berlin, Germany, receiving a Masters of Fine Arts. Additionally, she completed a Masters degree in Art Therapy at New York University. Irit's work appears in private collections in Israel, Germany, England, Belgium, USA and Canada. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Canada, USA, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and Israel. Irit lives and works in Toronto.
