Graphite on Cartridge paper

This was the illustration that I chose to exhibit! I selected this piece to best represent myself because of the essence of a chameleon. I am an expressive person. The nature of myself is that I can adapt my outward appearance based on my environment; in the same way a chameleon changes colours to blend in and, to its advantage, catch its prey. Most people perceive chameleons as telling and emotional because chameleons change colours often, to which I also can relate because I can easily convey my emotions. I find chameleons (and reptiles in general) fascinating, however, drawing scales is no easy task. Ultimately, I thought that this was an interesting and fun piece to showcase, so enjoy!
