On an early morning walk through the forest I noticed this tawny owlet branchling having a nap on a low branch. I was surprised as usually these little guys are high up in the trees hidden away and out of sight. Luckily the zoom on the Samsung S21 ultra is awesome and I was able to capture a nice shot of this owlet before it woke up and moved. I was very lucky because when I returned the following morning it had climbed back up and was high up in the tree canopy again.
