Cliona is a Kent based artist. Originally a designer and maker, predominantly now a painter. She works in watercolour, acrylic, oils and mixed media as a means to interpreting her subject matter and her emotional response to it. She is inspired by the Futurists and Expressionists as she seeks to give emotive force to an idea, place or object. She likes to capture time and her feeling towards it through the observation of nature at a particular moment in time.
