I am and RN, Nurse Educator and Artist. I am also an Art Therapy Student with Toronto Art Therapy Institute and I have an interest in grief support through visual arts. Currently, I am the director of NB COPES Child & Family Grief Centre. I have recognized the serious impact of grief and isolation on our communities. Having no formal and informal support systems during COVID has seriously impacted grief response and healing. I did this painting to remind others that even when we are in isolation, symbols in our environment can bring meaning and peace.
