I am a Line Telling a Story | Je suis une ligne qui raconte une histoire , 2021
54 x 96 in (h x w)
Video Performance

The viewer is a participant following the path a line goes. The path is a metaphor for the way life flows like a river. No matter how our life path goes, the way of nature happens, and we cannot control it. It is how we explore, discover, connect with ourselves, each other while being a part of nature that we can behold beauty. Living life, calmly, with careful consideration to notice that we are part of earth, air, fire, and water and how they interact. The paths we live create a storyline. The writer invites you as the participant to follow and draw a line. Playfully and with a little imagination explore and notice. Write down words and note how living artfully is living more soulfully and with beauty no matter how difficult.
Even to just think of life with different perspectives and perceptions so we can be more kind, respectful, understanding of differences as the human beings we are.
