While I usually work within the two-dimensional medium, this diorama was a chance to (in a way) bring my characters to life. In this scene, Thaddeus Throckmorton shows his new tuba to his girlfriend, Dee Dee, near the steps of the school. I really enjoyed building this scene from cardboard because it provides new angles and dimensions that you wouldn’t normally see in a still image.
