Photography - to me - is an escape from reality, which is supposedly just our lives being busy for the majority of each day. Although it isn’t treated as a necessity in terms of the modern world, I always value moments where I can avoid the social anxiety, high functioning anxiety, and the weight of the world on my shoulders. Photography taught me that it is okay to perform poorly one day because there will always be thousands of moments for you to harness opportunities to display your excellence.
