Sergio Hernández (1957, Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, Mexico) is a Oaxacan maestro willingly developing and promoting the Oaxacan School.

His reconaissance to Paris in the late C20th came after having studied in the elite Escuela de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado La Esmeralda and at the Academia de San Carlos, in Mexico City.
