About the artist:

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Lindsey Jean McLean (b.1991) lives and works in London, UK. In 2013, she completed her BA in Painting and Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art. One year after, she studied Drawing at the Royal Drawing School in London and now Mclean is about to complete her MFA in Painting at Slade School of Fine Art, UCL.

In addition, the artist has awarded the Haworth Charitable Trust Scholarship for MA/MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Arts. She is also a recipient of the Mary Rischgitz Prize, an award given in recognition of excellence in oil painting in final year, 2020.
