ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sean Mick is a full time artist working out of Miami, FL. His work relates to the intangibles of our human experience by visualizing them in a near psychedelic point of view to express the contradictions and frequent absurdity of our emotions, relationships and psychological constructs stemming from our consumption and interaction of media and technology. Mick's motifs often depict mythical subjects, trippy visuals, warped landscapes, and transcendent imagery as comment on how messages and information can be conflated and manipulated to various ends. Often appropriating public domain works from the 17th Century, Mick uses software, scripting, 3D modeling, AI, and motion design to create undulating works that infuse an energy to the composition as well as a nod towards technology's surreal grip on our global conversation. This piece, Cyclops, is about the danger of myopic vision coupled enormous power.

Mick's next project is part of BitBasel’s Inaugural NFT Collection on SuperRare on Sept. 7th.

Sean Mick has a BS from Northeastern University, College of Art Media Design in Boston, MA.
