Same but different

These three artworks are a series made with acrylic paint on canvas. Ben Frost was one of my major inspirations, he uses pop culture characters and combines them with consumer brands in a similar pop art style. I designed the digital arrangement so Scarlet Witch was the middle painting in the series, and the Black widow and Black Canary would on either side both holding phones. This decision is because Scarlet Witch’s’ pose is completely different from the others, which would allow it to be the most captivating artwork in the series. The reason why I chose the title for the series “Same but different” is because I wanted to make a brand that could rival the big two, Coke and Pepsi, but I wanted my one to be better. The use of vibrant colours helps create a joyful pop-art style that can be easily recognised.
