My intention is to research the expressiveness of the human face in different digitally processed hypostases.
The intervention on the human figure by changing facial expressions - expressiveness through linear paths or other methods is a new concern. I aim to convey a state of mind that imprints the character from the outside to the inside so that the appearance of the expression becomes part of the internal expressiveness.
The paths and the applied texture don’t emphasize the expression of the model but transform it completely, thus becoming a permanent expressive “tattoo”. The inner feeling is exaggerated and built on the surface of the figure in such a way as to express the inner content not so much by following the anatomy but modifying it with the help of an artificial coating of expressiveness.
The graphism unfollow the volumes but reconstructs them, exaggerating once again the mimicry through linear and geometric paths adapted to the expressive requirements followed with each change of facial expression.
The effects of volumetric deformation can be enhanced by two-dimensional shapes and paths that exaggerate or totally transforms the states experienced by each "face".
