Sneaky Shret , VCE

For this year of studio art I wanted to focus on surrealism whilst adding in my array of cartoons and ludicrous characters. This brought out a sense of humour but also confusion to the audience when looking at my artwork. I went through a number of trials and edits to see what characters I wanted to use and how well these characters would fit into my finished artwork. I wanted to add in Shrek to my artwork as he is a character that is very well known and joked upon. He brings life and colour into the final artwork, as you can see him in the background talking up the stairs in a cheeky manner.
