Evgeniya Dudnikova is an artist who works with themes of careful interaction with nature, local cultures, and historical legacy. Also, she often reflects on the theme of the spiritual development of humans, philosophical problems, and dreams. She appeals to images of supernatural creatures, horses, fantasy interiors, imaginary places to show her ideas, to immerse viewers in an atmosphere of the riddle. Her art language can be called symbolic and surrealistic, however, we always see details that link the imaginary things with familiar everyday things.
Evgeniya works in authorial technique, based on classical linocut and monotype. Her technique includes work with a lot of different colors - from 10 to 40 in one piece, so it even resembles that of a painting, which is the second area of Evgeniya's creativity. It is achieved by using many little shapes for each color so the printing process looks like creating a multilayer mosaic.
Evgeniya took part in many exhibitions, including four group exhibitions in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, exhibition and auction Cosmoscow foundation in the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow. She was published in a magazine about printmaking “Pressing Matters”, Vogue Russia, Elle Decoration, Curves, Plane magazine. Her works are in private collections in Russia, Germany, the USA, UK, and France.
