Emma Fitzpatricks’ work draws influence from the relationship between the natural landscape and human interaction with it over time to build environments to live in.

Emma is a visual artist and designer, born in Dublin and based in Leicester, UK. Her work revolves around printmaking and painting. She works both outdoors and indoors in her home studio and at the Leicester Print Workshop.

This work is part of a series of prints influenced, in part, by an art retreat in Cill Rialaig, Co Kerry, Ireland in early 2020. The experience of spending a few weeks living beside the wild Atlantic coast with stormy weather fronts and dramatic landscapes scattered with remnants of past communities, has impacted on her work.

She has shown work in a variety of shows including the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2019 and 2020, the annual exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists, the Graphic Society of Fine Art, The Pastel Society, Society of Women Artists, Leicester Society of Artists and the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin.
