Josephine Dixon is a visual artist working with photography, intaglio printmaking, drawing and watercolour. Her work is concerned with precarity, death, loss and grief, and processes of transition, persistence and survival.

Josephine studied for an MA Photography at the London College of Communication (2010-12) and has since extended her photographic and film practice into drawing, painting and printmaking, undertaking a range of one-to-one and group training courses, including at Artichoke Print Workshop and Bainbridge Print Studios.

Josephine has exhibited in a range of joint exhibitions, photographic and fine art, and written for several photographic journals.
