"The image of a tree in Hyde Park is a personal one, it reminds me of growing up and climbing trees. It evokes memories of childhood innocence. The real injustice occurs when we are 'taught' racial bias through society, media and the world around us. In order for children to learn about racial justice, they must be taught and empowered to be who they are originally, innocent minds who are inclusive of, and welcoming to all of humanity."
