"Education, knowledge and empathy are badly needed during these troubled times. In this painting, I try to expose the folly of rejecting new immigrants because of their religion, racial group and economic status. This country is basically comprised of immigrants from all over the world. And this diversity, this openness to new ways and ideas has made this country great and unique. It has progressed due to the infusion of fresh, new ideas and labor from immigrants. Let us help educate children and adults about the benefits of immigration , tolerance and racial harmony. Let us resist the forces of bigotry."
