Miguel Castro Leñero (1956, Mexico City) is one of the principal exponents of Mexican contemporary art alive today.

The Esteban Chapital Collection includes ten of his large-format paintings, all from his peak period of post-Ruptura production during the late eighties and early nineties.

Miguel is the brother of Alberto and Francisco, who also have works owned by the Esteban Chapital Collection.
