Since graduating from Scotch College in 2014, I’ve embarked on an ever changing journey through creativity, art, and my career.

Whilst studying the Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT University, I began a freelancing business in the craft of videography and photography, James McIntosh Media. I focus on creating videos for events, eSports, small businesses, and have recently released my first wedding video. I also occasionally support students in their digital art journey as a technician or guest teacher at several high schools, including Scotch College. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the creation of several animated heavy metal music videos during my animation studies, including the opportunity to contribute as the co-director and editor for ‘Hexed’ by Children of Bodom.

Since graduating my bachelor’s degree and creating my graduate film, I eventually shifted my focus to mental health related studies. Having experienced mental health challenges within myself and with those close to me, I was inspired to pursue a combined career in counselling, mental health support work, and my freelance work. At the time of writing, I am studying a Master of Counselling at Monash University whilst completing final placement for my Certificate IV in Mental Health at Swinburne University of Technology.

I write poetry in my spare time as an emotional outlet and enjoy performing my work at open mics. My next artwork is a long term 2D animated passion project that I hope to release in the coming years.
