"El Camino a Mi Casa" (The Road to My House) , 2015
[M3-4]

Joshua is 7 years old from Guatemala. He drew the green road first and said that this is the road the bus comes on. Next he drew the house, his father with curly hair, himself and his mom. He said he accidentally made his mom's head too big. Lastly, he drew the van with his uncle, the chauffer, and himself sitting next to his uncle. He remembers saying "go faster, faster!" The segmented purple lines with dots represents the "callejon"(alley way) that leads to his house, but he does not want to go back. His mother experienced domestic abuse there.
