Icarus desired to be equal to the Gods. Powerful people who claim to be God-like use their power to keep people in a state of subserviency. Therefore equality becomes unachievable and life remain status quo.It is the nature of one to strive for greatness and go beyond expectations. We are all just fighting for our place in the world. In order to be equal we must evolve and be recognized for our achievements and contributions.
