Women are very influential in my life, with my mom and sisters, great mentors and friends who showed strength and positive interdependence. But, even to this day, women are not given the equal rights they deserve particularly to other countries that treat them as second-class citizens.
According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Article #1 All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Article #7 All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.
