Environmental Protest Interactive Digital Data Art Piece

Art rebel and visionary Beatie Wolfe creates a stirring environmental art piece about human impact on the planet, built using 800,000 years of historic NASA data. “From Green to Red” (taken from the title of a song Wolfe wrote in 2006 after seeing ‘An Inconvenient Truth') tracks the impact of human behavior on the planet, creating a powerful visualization of rising CO2 levels, asking us the question, is it too late to turn back? The digital art piece was first presented at the Nobel Prize Summit before the interactive version of the project was installed at the London Design Biennale in Somerset House. From Green to Red was then projected city-sized at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) as the conference's largest visible art piece.
