Since 2021, she started working with the theme of 'Unfamiliar Trip'.
Whereas previous works were explorations of fate and destiny, the current works capture daily life, facing the world with curious eyes, like a child experiencing the world for the first time, about the phenomena unfolding in the given fate and destiny.
I search for time to become aware of the true truth of the world, 'What is this?', as a philosophical question rather than a religious one.
Phenomena that anyone can experience - the people I am with, my home, the moments I feel unfamiliar with the landscapes I have always experienced,,,, - become the theme of my work.
The contents of the works are formative interpretations of the objects we encounter in our daily life. Silk and chalk paints, which are pure oriental coloring materials, give color and depth that oil or acrylic paints cannot.
The works contain Korean(oriental) inner thoughts.
