When we talk about the most beautiful days, youth, is there any color as good as blue? Blue is the main color of my work. Blue in my work is innocence, love, and my present.
Blue is a color that is like a smile you send to yourself. The sky, the sea, and the space-time of youth come to the surface, and at the same time, it is conveyed as a positive healing meaning. Blue... I hope that the meaning will become a force actively expressed in reality, neither reminiscence nor illusion. Return to energy that makes today feel more vivid and alive again..
Life is tough. Modern people, who are forced by future-oriented self-esteem and are getting tired of speed, do not even have time to look at the sky. The time to look back on the reckless youth beyond the memories has long since become a luxury. Creature that spreads like a wave is very similar to our life. How poor and beautiful is our appearance, which has been repeatedly raised in the midst of countless questions and choices, delight and frustration... Even if it is not the blue sea we meet at the resort, nor the glamorous youth, there is enough energy to arouse the present day. Even though it is incomplete, I always hope that it can overcome again with that blue gaze. A pure blue window that is always open and not cloudy regardless of time and weather... The blue in my paintings is a window of healing, and it is the smile of life that never changes.
